An addition to the post originally written on the 10th August I spoke a bit soon about all being mostly well… I’ve just realised that (without thinking) I turned off Dropbox when I started this experiment.
Dropbox is where 50GB of important bits of my life live and now the various laptops are all out of sync.
Damn.
I could turn it back on and just accept a really long upload (I’ve been moving big images around) or even just get every thing locally in-sync but not uploaded via LAN syncing, but it’s going to require some thought.
However, I suspect we have the challenges’ first sacrifice.
